When it comes to parking structure restoration and seismic retrofit, IDS Group’s record is unmatched with more than 50 new parking structures in our portfolio. Many of our projects have included ground-breaking innovations: utilization of fiber composite and base-isolated columns for parking structure seismic design-strengthening, design of the first parking structure in U.S. to utilize buckling-restrained frames for seismic energy dissipations, participation in the first parking structure design to achieve LEED–certifications, and being among first to use BIM / Revit modeling (our John Wayne Airport model is considered one of the largest ever developed).
Our experience includes the design of terminal structures, all mechanical and electrical systems, Fids / Bids, baggage handling systems, seismic upgrade, renovation, central plant design, and value engineering services for both civilian and military airports.
