This Wal-Mart Ontario Supercenter is a ground-up retail complex on approximately 17 acres of retail center space that had been previously abandoned for 7 years. The new Wal-Mart Store has over 175,000 SF of sales area and associated parking lot, landscaped islands, underground utilities and associated storm drain system improvements. The superstore will return convenient retail shopping to the surrounding communities.
IDS provided design engineering and survey services for the preparation and processing of project entitlements, grading, drainage, and underground infrastructure improvements, including off-site signal design and traffic improvements that conformed to the Mountain Village Specific. Wal-Mart is one of the largest retailers in the world.
